I have used Benie for about 4 jobs now, including 2 full master bathroom renovations, a kitchen demolition, a powder room renovation, and a guest bath renovation. Two of these jobs were the result of my wanting him to come back and retrofit some changes into the renovations he had already done. These retrofits were great - it was as if the changes I wanted were there from the start - there is no way anybody would know that he came back to make the changes (note the changes were because I wanted changes - nothing to do with Benie's work). Benie does very good work and what's even more important is that he LISTENS. He is patient, pays attention to details, wants to do things the right way, and he has been very honest and ethical. No project is perfect - there are always issues. Benie addresses the issues, even if it requires some rework. He has been very customer focused, and he really thinks through how to do things if something new comes up or a change needs to be made. While quality of work is certainly important, he is just a nice person and very pleasant to work with. Some contractors are difficult and not enjoyable to work with, but that is not the case with Benie. As new projects come up, I will continue to reach out to Benie for his assistance.
